Competition Rules

The following outlines the Rules and Guidelines for FIERI's "Boss of the Sauce" event.

  • The Sauce needs to be Tomato Based
  • The Sauce needs to be a permanent part of the restaurant's menu
  • 3 gallons of Sauce needs to be brought to the Tasting in a 16-24 quart standard saucepot
  • One volunteer from the restaurant must be available at tasting to assist in serving the sauce.
  • Deadline for entering the contest is October 31st 2009, Official "Boss of the Sauce" Restaurant Registration Form must be completed and registration fee received by October 31st, 2009.*

*This deadline can only be extended at the discretion of the event chairman.
